The Story Behind Cactus Casita

Die Gastgeber – Donata und Gediminas, are a Lithuanian couple who left behind their busy London life to follow a dream of living by the ocean. Drawn to Tenerife’s year-round sunshine and tranquil island rhythm, they settled in a small fishing village that instantly felt like home.

What began as a new chapter turned into a heartfelt project — restoring old fishermen’s houses and giving them new life while keeping their authentic Canarian soul. Each home they create — including Cactus Casita, Green House, and Altes Fischerhaus „Neo“ — zeigt ihre Hingabe, das Erbe zu bewahren und zugleich Komfort und Design zu verbinden.

Donata gestaltet jedes Detail des Interieurs persönlich und verbindet restaurierte lokale Materialien mit zeitlosem Küstenstil, während Gediminas handwerkliches Können und Sorgfalt in jede Renovierung einbringt.
