The Story Behind Casita Verde (Green House)

The hosts, Donata and Gediminas, are a Lithuanian couple who left behind their busy London life to follow a dream of living by the ocean. Drawn to Tenerife’s year-round sunshine and tranquil island rhythm, they settled in a small fishing village that instantly felt like home.

What began as a new chapter turned into a heartfelt project — restoring old fishermen’s houses and giving them new life while keeping their authentic Canarian soul. Each home they create — including Cactus Casita, Casita Verde, and Old Fisherman Hut Neo — reflects their dedication to preserving heritage while embracing comfort and design.

Donata personally curates every interior detail, blending restored local materials with timeless coastal style, while Gediminas brings craftsmanship and care to every renovation.
